Hello, I’m Shamis Dirie, a self-employed care professional supporting people to live safely, comfortably and meaningfully in their own homes. I began my self-employed journey in February 2025, but my passion for care started long before that.

I believe care should feel like an extension of the family – a familiar, trusted presence who brings reassurance, companionship and dignity into everyday life. I offer personalised support including personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, home help, and warm, friendly companionship.

With a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, experience supporting young adults with disabilities, and a background in managing supported living services, I bring a high level of professionalism, reliability and understanding to every person I work with.

Clear communication is at the heart of how I work. Families always know how their loved one is doing, and the people I support feel listened to, respected and fully involved in their own care.
